Gamepulp® is a shiny brand new casual games development studio, born July 2007. We're currently creating our first game.

Philosophy
Our habits are changing: we're becoming more mobile, our life is full of omnipresent and more user-friendly devices, that anyone, hard-core geeks and baby-boomers alike, can (and does) use more. The gamers of yore also are still there, older but still eager to play...
As a result, the casual game market is adapting to answer to those new gaming desires, without the same time constraints, without having to drill a hole in one's wallet to have some fun.

Once more, gaming exists for gaming, not needing or wanting to challenge Hollywood anymore, and thus promoting new possibilities of activity, and above all a new creative freedom. This creativity is often expressed by small independent studios, a rather new concept in our industry.

Gamepulp was created in this context, with its own vision. Our challenge, during our first year of existence, isn't to implement yet-another solitaire, mah-jong, or virtual pet, but to set a new standard of innovation and quality in the casual games market.
No, we're not making AAA, big budget games, but that doesn't mean we want to slash on quality, and so all our games will be 3D, online multiplayer, and set in a rich and unique universe.
That doesn't mean that 3D and networking alone are everything: if we revisit a classic with our first game, Besmashed®, it is to bring to it a fresh new gameplay, addictive and fun as ever.

Trio

Christophe Houllier Antoine Geoffrion Benoît Fouletier

As with all budding enterprises, Gamepulp is above all the fruit of the meeting of a few passionates, the result of the slow maturation of diversified experiences, which led individuals to make that step towards what they've always wanted to do: create a studio, make their games, and involve themselves fully.
So Gamepulp is the story of the guys, Benoit Fouletier (engineer), Antoine Geoffrion (artistic director) and Christophe Houllier (do-it-all manager/animator/drill sergeant).

We won't enumerate our resumes here, but just cut short to say that Antoine and Christophe come from the world of communication (working in Digipulp these last two years), and Benoit from telecommunication, the common factor of our jobs being several years of experience with Internet and the new technologies.
